- Place the cut-up chicken in a baking dish, seasoning with garlic powder and paprika to taste.
- In a bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, whipping cream, and sliced water chestnuts.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the baking dish.
- Add chopped pimento, toasted slivered almonds, and frozen peas evenly over the top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for about 60 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Remove from oven, garnish as desired, and serve hot.
