Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/16 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 to 1 cup cheese

Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs, sour cream, half and half, salt, pepper, cayenne, and nutmeg together.
  2. Sprinkle cheese (such as Swiss) on the bottom of an unbaked pie crust.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese in the crust.
  4. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce oven temperature to 300°F and continue to bake for 40 minutes until set and golden.
