Ingredients

  • 1 loaf white bread, cubed
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, cubed
  • 10 eggs
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup oleo

Instructions

  1. Line the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch pan with a layer of half the bread cubes.
  2. Spread the cubed cream cheese evenly on top of the bread layer.
  3. In a bowl, beat the eggs, maple syrup, milk, and oleo (melted butter).
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the layered bread and cream cheese.
  5. Let the casserole set for a few minutes to absorb the mixture.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
