Ingredients

  • 2 c. diced apples, unpeeled
  • 3 c. diced cooked turkey
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2/3 c. diced celery
  • 3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
  • 1/2 c. chopped toasted almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped chives or parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. sweet basil or salad herbs
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced apples and cooked turkey in a bowl.
  2. Sprinkle with lemon juice and toss lightly.
  3. Add diced celery, chopped eggs, toasted almonds, and chopped chives or parsley.
  4. Mix in mayonnaise and season with sweet basil, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. Garnish with sliced unpared apple before serving.
