Colorful, sweet fruit kabobs featuring bananas, peaches, pineapple, and cherries, perfect for summer gatherings and kids' parties with vibrant flavors and easy prep.

Ingredients

  • 3 firm bananas
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 fresh peach halves
  • 6 maraschino cherries
  • 1 fresh pineapple, cut into chunks
  • 6 skewers

Instructions

  1. Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Dip the banana slices into lemon juice, then into the brown sugar mixture.
  3. Fill the open side of each peach half with the remaining sugar mixture and place a cherry in the center of each peach half.
  4. Thread the fruit onto skewers in this order: 3 banana slices, 6 pineapple chunks, and 1 peach half per skewer.
  5. Place the skewers across a microwave-safe dish with the open side of the peach halves facing up.
  6. Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
