Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup cleaned raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Beat honey with egg until well combined.
  3. Mix salt, all-purpose flour, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  4. Add the egg mixture and milk all at once to the dry ingredients and stir quickly until all ingredients are moistened.
  5. Stir in melted butter and raspberries gently.
  6. Pour batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
