Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh beef
  • 1 lb. veal
  • 1 lb. fresh pork, all ground
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c. butter or drippings
  • 2 c. milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. mashed potatoes
  • bread crumbs (dry)

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients and form into rolls about 2 1/2 inches long and 1 inch through.
  2. Roll in the bread crumbs.
  3. Bake 3/4 hour in a well-greased pan.
  4. Keep covered the first 15 minutes.
  5. After they are brown, put a little water in pan.
  6. Makes 36 rolls.
