Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/4 cup plain flour
  • 2 teaspoons grated onion
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) package noodles, cooked

Instructions

  1. Melt the margarine in a saucepan.
  2. Add flour, grated onion, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, salt, and pepper to the melted margarine and cook to make the sauce.
  3. Gradually add milk and stir until the mixture thickens into a white sauce.
  4. Combine cooked noodles, cooked peas, and thawed shrimp in a large bowl.
  5. Mix the white sauce with the noodle, pea, and shrimp mixture until well combined.
  6. Refrigerate the mixture overnight.
  7. Bake uncovered at 350°F for about 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
