- Mash the banana in a mixing bowl.
- Add flour, Cream of Wheat, baking powder, salt, and sugar to the mashed banana and mix well.
- Gradually add water little by little, mixing until you get a batter as thick as a muffin batter.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on one side.
- Turn the fried banana bread pieces over and fry the other side until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving.
