Crispy fried cabbage patties with savory Romano cheese and seasoned bread crumbs, perfect as a tasty appetizer or side dish for family meals or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 6 eggs
  • Romano cheese
  • seasoned Italian bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Boil the cabbage until slightly cooked.
  2. Drain water and peel the leaves.
  3. Take several leaves in your hand and squeeze into small patties.
  4. Make as many patties as desired.
  5. Beat eggs in a bowl.
  6. Mix Romano cheese and seasoned Italian bread crumbs in another bowl.
  7. Dip the patties in the beaten eggs, then remove and coat with bread crumbs.
  8. Place the patties in a pan and fry until golden brown.
