Crispy fried lumpia filled with savory ground meat, vegetables, and optional shrimp, perfect as an appetizer or snack with sweet and sour or hot mustard dipping sauces.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef or pork
  • 1 cup cabbage
  • 1/4 lb. shrimp (optional)
  • 1/4 cup mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup carrots
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook and drain the ground beef or pork, then add cooked and chopped shrimp if using.
  2. Combine shredded cabbage, chopped mushrooms, shredded carrots, salt, and pepper with the meat mixture and mix thoroughly.
  3. Place a portion of the mixture onto a lumpia wrapper and roll tightly to seal.
  4. Deep fry the egg rolls in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or hot mustard.
