Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons chopped jalapeno pepper
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Mix cornmeal, self-rising flour, salt, chopped onion, chopped jalapeno, cream-style corn, and egg until well combined.
  2. Drop teaspoonfuls of the mixture into hot, deep grease.
  3. Fry until golden brown.
  4. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
