Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 slices bacon
  • potatoes
  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Fry the bacon until crispy and set aside.
  2. Peel and dice the potatoes.
  3. Prepare the corn by pulling back the husks, removing the silk, then replacing the husks.
  4. Tie each corn with kitchen string and soak in salt water for 15 minutes.
  5. Place the corn directly on the grill.
  6. Cook until the husks are brown, about 20 minutes for a large ear.
  7. Test by pricking a kernel; the juice should be clear, not milky.
  8. Remove from the grill and slather with butter and salt.
  9. Cook the diced potatoes as desired (e.g., fry, boil, or roast).
  10. Serve the fried potatoes alongside the grilled corn and crispy bacon.
