Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs, dried
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pinches thyme
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup cream
  • 3 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, salt, pepper and thyme.
  2. Let rest 1/2 hour.
  3. Make meatballs.
  4. Dust with flour; save flour.
  5. Brown in oil.
  6. Add remaining flour and cream.
  7. Cook together until gravy forms.
  8. Serve over parslied potatoes.
