Tips & Substitutions

For a slightly spicier chili, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper. If you're out of chili mix, substitute with a mix of cumin, paprika, and oregano. If you prefer a vegetarian version, swap the ground chuck for a plant-based meat alternative or use lentils. This dish can also benefit from a splash of Worcestershire sauce for extra depth.
