Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • fruit (blueberries, apples, or peaches)
  • 3/4 cup sugar (per pint of fruit)

Instructions

  1. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, and milk together in a bowl.
  2. Pour the batter into a large pie dish.
  3. Add your choice of fruit (blueberries, apples, or peaches) over the batter.
  4. For apples, sprinkle with cinnamon; for peaches, sprinkle with nutmeg.
  5. Add 3/4 cup sugar per pint of fruit on top of the fruit.
  6. Bake at 375°F until the pie is browned.
  7. Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream.
