Ingredients

  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
  • 2 c. nuts
  • 1 c. orange slice candy
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. coconut

Instructions

  1. Chop candied cherries, candied pineapple, nuts, and orange slice candy.
  2. Mix all of the chopped ingredients with sweetened condensed milk and coconut in a large bowl.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  4. Line a loaf pan with foil and butter it thoroughly.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 275°F (135°C).
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then freeze for a month or longer before serving.
