Tips & Substitutions

For a creamier texture, consider using mascarpone cheese instead of cream cheese. You can also substitute the nuts with seeds like sunflower or pumpkin seeds for a nut-free option. If you're short on time, use pre-made fruit salad instead of fresh fruit. This dish can also be adapted to include seasonal fruits for variety.

Serving Suggestions

These fruit stuffed tomatoes make a refreshing appetizer or light lunch. Pair them with a crisp green salad or serve alongside grilled chicken for a complete meal. They also complement dishes like Jessie'S Lima Beans With Mushrooms And Celery for a delightful vegetarian spread. Garnish with additional fresh fruit for visual appeal.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftover stuffed tomatoes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To enjoy them again, serve cold straight from the fridge, as reheating may affect the texture. If you prefer a warm dish, consider lightly broiling them for a few minutes, but be cautious to not overcook.
