A vibrant, fruity salad with layered flavors of jello, mixed fruits, and crunchy pecans, perfect for potlucks, picnics, or festive gatherings that require a refreshing dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. red jello
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 small pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed and drained
  • 5 bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Jello according to package directions in a large mixing bowl and refrigerate until slightly thickened.
  2. Mix the drained crushed pineapple, thawed strawberries, sliced bananas, and chopped pecans into the thickened Jello.
  3. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch cake pan and refrigerate until completely set.
  4. Spread thawed Cool Whip over the top of the salad and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
