Ingredients

  • 1 c. wheat flour
  • 1 c. corn meal
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 3/4 c. cubed ham
  • 3/4 c. cubed Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. honey or sugar

Instructions

  1. Sift together dry ingredients.
  2. Combine
  3. other ingredients in separate bowl, adding ham and cheese last.
  4. Stir in dry ingredients until just moistened.
  5. Makes 9 Texas size muffins. Fill tin to rim.
  6. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.
