Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 1 (No. 2 1/2) can medium pitted black olives
  • 1/4 lb. margarine
  • 1 large pineapple
  • 1 large carrot (optional)
  • 1 bag coconut

Instructions

  1. Hard-boil the eggs and set aside to cool.
  2. Slice the cucumber into small pieces for the penguin's body and head.
  3. Drain the black olives and cut some into small pieces for the eyes and beak.
  4. Melt the margarine and set aside.
  5. Peel and cut the pineapple into suitable shapes or sizes for the penguin's body.
  6. Optional: prepare a carrot to shape as a beak or accessory.
  7. Use a pastry bag with a small round tip to assemble the penguins, using the ingredients as needed.
  8. Decorate the penguins with olives for eyes and beaks, cucumber for body, and coconut for snow or accents.
