Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 4 cups cooked chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts or celery
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 roll Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream.
  3. Add cooked chicken, water chestnuts or celery, and minced onion; mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  5. Stir crushed Ritz crackers into melted butter and spread over the casserole.
  6. Sprinkle the top with poppy seed.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
