Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups water
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup half and half cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 to 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil.
  2. Stir in rice, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Stir in butter, half and half cream, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Serve hot.
