Tender shredded Italian beef simmered with pepperoncini and mushrooms, infused with savory broth and seasonings, perfect for hearty sandwiches or family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 lb. pot roast
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 can beer
  • 7 oz. Good Seasons Italian dressing mix
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 small jar pepperoncini
  • 1 can mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Place the pot roast in a covered baking dish.
  2. Add beef broth, Italian dressing mix, water, oregano, and pepperoncini to the dish.
  3. Cover and bake at 275°F for 5 hours until the meat is tender.
  4. Remove the meat from the pan and shred it.
  5. Return the shredded meat to the pan, add pepperoncini and mushrooms.
  6. Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
