Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup saltines, crushed
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Whip egg whites until stiff.
  2. Gradually fold in sugar.
  3. Mix baking powder with crushed saltines.
  4. Pour mixture into a large pie pan.
  5. Bake in a 375°F oven for 30 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool completely.
  7. Top with whipped cream.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving.
