Ingredients

  • 4 - 8 oz. packages cream cheese
  • 1 - 16 oz. container sour cream
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2-3 tsp. lemon juice
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Warm cream cheese, sour cream, butter, and eggs until they reach room temperature.
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. In a large bowl, whip cream cheese until fluffy.
  4. Beat in butter and sour cream until well combined.
  5. Add cornstarch, vanilla, and lemon juice; beat at high speed until very well blended.
  6. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
  7. Pour the cheesecake batter into a well-buttered 10-inch springform pan.
  8. Place the pan in a larger pan and add warm water to come halfway up the side of the springform pan.
