Ingredients

  • 5 lb. ground garfish
  • 3 large onions
  • 1 c. instant potatoes
  • 3 celery stems
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 1 tsp. red pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • flour (enough to roll balls or patties in)

Instructions

  1. Grind bacon, celery, garlic, and onions.
  2. Mix the ground ingredients thoroughly with ground garfish, red pepper, salt, and instant potatoes.
  3. Add 2 eggs and mix well to combine.
  4. Shape the mixture into 2-inch balls or patties.
  5. Roll each ball or patty in flour.
  6. Fry the coated balls or patties in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through.
