Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 qt. peeled ripe tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 small can green chilies, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and heat gradually to boiling point.
  2. Simmer for at least 4 hours or until desired consistency.
  3. Pour hot salsa into sterilized jars.
  4. Process jars in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
