Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chicken wings (drumettes)
  • 3 garlic heads
  • 1 c. + 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 10 to 15 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan
  • 1 c. Italian style bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat chicken wings dry. Separate garlic cloves and peel them.
  2. Place garlic, 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and hot pepper sauce in a blender and puree.
  3. Combine grated Parmesan cheese, Italian style bread crumbs, and pepper in a plastic bag.
  4. Dip wings into the garlic puree and then roll them in the bread crumbs mixture.
  5. Coat a shallow nonstick baking pan with oil and arrange the wings in a single layer.
  6. Bake in a 375°F oven for 45 to 60 minutes until browned.
  7. Serve hot.
