Cheesy garlic knots with a soft, flaky crust, infused with garlic and oregano, perfect as an appetizer or snack for gatherings and casual meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. refrigerated ready-to-bake pizza crust dough (10 oz.)
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. whipped butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • dash of oregano leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough and cut it in half crosswise, then cut each half into ten 1-inch wide strips, making 20 strips.
  3. Tie each strip of dough into a loose knot and arrange on a nonstick baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space between each knot.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the whipped butter, minced garlic, oil, and a dash of oregano leaves.
  5. Brush the garlic butter mixture over the knots before baking.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and brush with additional garlic butter if desired.
  8. Serve warm.
