Ingredients

  • 4 lb cubed pork
  • 1 lime
  • 2 c white vinegar
  • 1/4 lb garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 hot peppers, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 4 cloves
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash cubed pork with the juice of a lime and place in an earthenware jar or crock.
  2. Mix vinegar with crushed garlic, chopped fresh thyme, chopped hot peppers, salt, and cloves.
  3. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it is completely covered with liquid.
  4. Refrigerate, covered, for 2 days to marinate.
  5. Remove pork from the marinade.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the pork until brown, about 10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.
