Healthy and tasty dog cookies made with wholesome ingredients like whole wheat flour, oats, bacon grease, and powdered milk, perfect for training or treats for your furry friend.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup powdered milk
  • 1/2 cup bacon grease
  • 2 teaspoons cod liver oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups instant bouillon or stock (chicken or beef)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients into a sticky dough.
  2. Drop by teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Alternatively, form into a rectangle and squeeze into a dog biscuit shape.
  4. Bake at 325°F for 50 minutes.
  5. Cool on a rack and store in a plastic bag or can.
