Garlicky Stuffed Quahogs
Ingredients
- 12 fresh quahogs or 1 lb. chopped clams ⓘ
- 1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley ⓘ
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1/4 lb. saltines ⓘ
- 2 slices bread ⓘ
- 1/2 c. butter ⓘ
- 1 onion, finely diced ⓘ
- 1/2 c. dry white wine or vermouth ⓘ
- juice of 2 lemons ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper ⓘ
- salt to taste ⓘ
Instructions
- Open quahogs (easily done by putting them in the freezer for a short time).
- Roughly chop.
- In food processor, mince parsley and garlic.
- Add crackers and bread and pulse until coarse crumbs are formed.
