A creamy, savory seafood spread with tender chicken or crab, fresh herbs, and lemon, perfect for appetizers, dips, or spreading on crackers and bread.

Ingredients

  • 12 1/2 oz canned chicken or imitation crab meat
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Chop the chicken or crab into small pieces using a food processor or meat grinder.
  2. Mix the chopped seafood with enough cream cheese to bind it together; use all of the cream cheese if desired.
  3. Add finely chopped spring onions, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and optionally garlic powder; mix well.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning until the spread is flavorful.
