Ingredients

  • 1 (31 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (16 1/2 oz.) can applesauce
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 6 wieners (smoked sausage)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the pork and beans, rinsed and drained sauerkraut, applesauce, chopped onion, brown sugar, dry mustard, and seasoned salt in a greased 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  3. Bake the mixture for 25 minutes.
  4. Place the wieners on top of the bean mixture.
  5. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
