Instructions
- Boil potatoes until fork pokes through.
- Peel and mash the potatoes while hot.
- Add salt and flour to the mashed potatoes and form into 1/2-inch thick patties.
- Cook the patties in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Drain the patties and place them in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
- Layer the patties with sliced onions sautéed in 2 Tbsp. oil and Swiss or Cheddar cheese.
- Bake at 325°F for 1 hour.
