Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce or a dash of hot sauce. If you prefer a heartier meal, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef. You can also use canned diced tomatoes with green chilies for extra heat. For a vegetarian option, replace the meat with lentils and use vegetable broth instead of water.

Serving Suggestions

Serve Gershwin's Goulash with a side of crusty bread or a fresh garden salad for a complete meal. It pairs beautifully with cornbread for a comforting touch. For added richness, top each serving with shredded cheese or a dollop of sour cream. This dish is perfect for potlucks or family gatherings.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. To reheat, warm gently on the stovetop over low heat, adding a splash of water or broth to maintain moisture. You can also microwave individual portions, stirring halfway through until heated through.
