Ingredients

  • 3 lb. canned ham
  • 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple slices (juice pack), drained
  • 3 tablespoons reserved pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Place ham on a roasting rack in a 10-inch square casserole dish.
  2. Cover loosely with plastic wrap.
  3. Microwave at Medium-high (70%) for 15 minutes; set aside.
  4. Mix 3 tablespoons of reserved pineapple juice, brown sugar, and mustard in a small bowl.
  5. Microwave at Medium-high (70%) until hot, 1 to 1½ minutes, stirring after half of the cooking time.
  6. Insert 4 cloves into each pineapple slice and arrange on top of the ham.
  7. Pour half of the glaze over the ham.
  8. Cover and microwave at Medium-high (70%) until internal temperature reaches 130°F, about 20 to 30 minutes, brushing with glaze 2 or 3 times.
  9. Cover with aluminum foil.
  10. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
