- Combine cream cheese, sugar, grated lemon peel, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
- Separate roll dough into 8 rectangles; press perforations to seal.
- Spread about 2 teaspoons of the cheese mixture over each rectangle.
- Roll dough, jelly roll fashion, starting at the long side.
- Stretch dough slightly; tie in a loose knot.
- Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375°F for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Combine powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon lemon juice to make the glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve.
