- Place popcorn in a large bowl.
- Heat butter and syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
- Stir in sugar and Jell-O; bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour syrup immediately over popcorn, tossing to coat well.
- Spread popcorn on foil-lined 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan, using forks to spread evenly.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 300°F (150°C); cool.
- Remove from pan and break into small pieces before serving.
