Sweet, crunchy glazed popcorn with a hint of caramel and a burst of flavor from Jell-O, perfect for parties, holidays, or a fun snack for all ages.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups popped popcorn
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 small package Jell-O (any flavor)

Instructions

  1. Place popcorn in a large bowl.
  2. Heat butter and syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. Stir in sugar and Jell-O; bring to a boil over medium heat.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour syrup immediately over popcorn, tossing to coat well.
  6. Spread popcorn on foil-lined 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan, using forks to spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes at 300°F (150°C); cool.
  8. Remove from pan and break into small pieces before serving.
