Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup Kraft French dressing
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups hot mashed potatoes
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Combine ground chuck, Kraft French dressing, salt, pepper, dry bread crumbs, chopped onion, and 2 eggs in a bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into an oval loaf and place in a shallow baking dish.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  4. Remove from oven and transfer to a baking sheet or heatproof platter.
  5. Prepare the frosting by mixing hot mashed potatoes, beaten egg, and Miracle Whip.
  6. Frost the meatloaf with the mashed potato mixture.
  7. Broil until the mashed potato frosting is lightly browned.
