Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Prepare the unbaked pie crust in a pie plate.
  3. In a large bowl, with a mixer at medium speed, beat the pumpkin with all other ingredients (excluding whipped cream) until well mixed.
  4. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  5. Bake the pie for 15 minutes at 425°F.
  6. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and continue baking for 35 minutes or until the filling is set.
  7. Let the pie cool before serving.
  8. Top with whipped cream before serving.
