Ingredients

  • 3 lb venison roast
  • 1 medium onion
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 cup carrots
  • 5 or 6 potatoes

Instructions

  1. Place the venison roast in the crock-pot.
  2. Season with salt and pepper, then cover with water.
  3. Turn on high until it begins to boil.
  4. Peel and cut the potatoes into quarters.
  5. Slice the onion.
  6. Chop the carrots and place them on top of the meat.
  7. Reduce the heat and simmer for 3 to 4 hours.
