Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup melted margarine, and granulated sugar.
  2. Press half of the crumb mixture firmly in an ungreased 8x8-inch square pan.
  3. Beat powdered sugar, 1/2 cup softened margarine, and egg in a small mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Spread the sugar mixture carefully over the crumb crust.
  5. Fold pineapple into Cool Whip; spread over the sugar mixture.
  6. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the top.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours or until firm.
  8. Cut into squares and top with Cool Whip and cherries before serving.
