Ingredients

  • 1 large head cabbage
  • 2 onions
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup Mazola oil
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 2 teaspoons celery salt
  • 2 teaspoons regular salt

Instructions

  1. Heat the cabbage and onions in a heatproof bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, mix the sugar, Mazola oil, vinegar, prepared mustard, celery salt, and regular salt.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the cabbage and onions.
  5. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
