Ingredients

  • 1 cut-up chicken
  • 3/4 cup catsup
  • 1 diet cola
  • 1 bell pepper, cut in strips
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced or diced

Instructions

  1. Mix diet cola and catsup in a bowl.
  2. Place the cut-up chicken in an electric skillet.
  3. Pour the cola and catsup mixture over the chicken.
  4. Add sliced bell pepper, sliced or diced onion, and sliced mushrooms to the skillet.
  5. Cover and cook at 350°F until the chicken is done, about 60 minutes.
  6. The cola and catsup mixture will thicken as it cooks.
  7. Serve the chicken with noodles or rice.
