Ingredients

  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 small container cool whip
  • Additional cool whip for topping
  • 2 small packages chocolate pudding

Instructions

  1. Mix self-rising flour, chopped pecans, and melted butter, then pat into the bottom of a Pyrex dish.
  2. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes and let cool.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Fold in cool whip and spread over cooled crust.
  5. Prepare the chocolate pudding with milk according to package instructions.
  6. Pour the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Top with additional cool whip if desired and refrigerate before serving.
