- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
- Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Arrange the chunk pineapple over the cherry filling.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the fruit layer.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts and coconut on top of the buttered cake mix.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot or cold, optionally with whipped cream.
