Ingredients

  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 can chunk pineapple
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  2. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Arrange the chunk pineapple over the cherry filling.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the fruit layer.
  5. Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped nuts and coconut on top of the buttered cake mix.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Serve hot or cold, optionally with whipped cream.
