Ingredients

  • 1 lb. stew meat (sirloin), chunked
  • 3 to 4 potatoes (with skin), quartered
  • 3 to 4 carrots, chunked
  • 2 medium onions, quartered
  • 2 cans cream of celery soup
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 6 oz. beer or ginger ale

Instructions

  1. In a casserole dish, place the stew meat on the bottom.
  2. Add the quartered potatoes, carrots, and onions on top of the meat.
  3. Mix the cream of celery and cream of mushroom soups together.
  4. Pour the soup mixture over the meat and vegetables.
  5. Pour the beer or ginger ale over everything.
  6. Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix evenly over the top.
  7. Cover the casserole and bake in a preheated 325°F oven for 3 hours without peeking.
