Ingredients

  • 6 oz. lemon Jell-O
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 large can milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Graham crackers (1 package)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow pan, put the can of milk and freeze until edges begin to crystallize.
  2. While milk is freezing, crush the package of graham crackers, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 3 tablespoons of butter and mix.
  3. Press the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan to form the crust.
  4. Save some of the graham cracker mixture to sprinkle on top later.
  5. Mix lemon Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water and let stand to cool at room temperature.
  6. Beat the frozen milk until whipped, then beat in the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth.
  7. Slowly add the cooled Jell-O mixture into the cream cheese mixture, mixing well.
  8. Pour the filling over the graham cracker crust.
  9. Refrigerate until the cheesecake is firm, then sprinkle the reserved graham cracker mixture on top before serving.
